Gen Kelsang Losel
Gen Kelsang Losel,
Resident Teacher of Avalokiteshvara Center
in Denver, is the principle teacher of Kadampa Buddhism in Colorado. She
is one of the senior teachers of Kadampa Buddhism and a close disciple
of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
She received ordination from Geshe Kelsang in 1993.
She teaches General Program,
Foundation Program, and Teacher
Training Program at Avalokiteshvara Center and other classes at a
number of branches.
Gen Losel arrived in Colorado in the fall 1999 at the request of Geshe Kelsang after a group of Coloradoans had asked for a teacher. Since then she has worked tirelessly to benefit others by teaching extensively and continuing to establish new branches in Colorado. She has earned the love and respect of a great many students through her illuminating teachings and pure example.
