Join us in this relaxing meditation that will help you to unwind after a busy day and find the reservoir of peace and tranquility residing deep within your own mind.

The Art of Meditation in combination with Unwind
The Third Thursday of each month, 2:30-3:30, St Francis Atrium.
After 30 minutes of meditation a discussion will follow to help you learn how to deepen your meditation practice. Learn how to settle your mind, improve your mindfulness and concentration and develop a mind of universal love. Each class is self-contained. However, you may gain more benefit from attending the whole series.

Creating Peace of Mind

Finding peace of mind seems elusive to many of us in this day and age. Yet you truly have it with you all of the time. Learn how to find this beautiful state within yourself.

The Healing Power of Meditation

The body and the mind are interconnected. With all of the health choices and health issues facing us today, how do we use this relationship between mental and physical health for peak performance. Learn how meditation can bring balance into your life.

Learning to Let Go
Thursdays 11/20 & 4/16, 2:30 pm-3:30 pm St. Francis Atrium
Letting go means not dwelling on something which comes to mind. Recognizing and then letting go of anger, criticism and worry allows us to reduce the stress in our lives, become more balanced and live life more fully. In this workshop you will learn how to let go and bring peace to your mind.

The Teacher - Patricia Borri

Patricia Borri has been studying at Avalokiteshvara Center since 1999. Her teaching style is practical and heartfelt with an emphasis on integrating meditation into daily life. Patricia leads relaxation meditations at the Center and at Metro State College, bringing a few minutes of peace and tranquility into busy lives.
