The Healing Power of Meditation

In this course we will look at ways of developing a general sense of well-being through examining and changing the minds that give rise stress and ill-health. Heart of Wisdom ~
Understanding Emptiness

All our problems and suffering arise because we do not understand how things truly exist – we are constantly fooled by appearances - like a traveler in the desert exhausting ourselves running after mirages. Understanding emptiness will release us from this confusion and solve all our problems permanently.

Freedom From Painful Emotions

Buddhist teachings explain that our suffering comes from uncontrolled and painful states of mind known as delusions. Each week we will focus on how to overcome a particular delusion, such as loneliness, anger, pride, miserliness, and low self-esteem. Learning practical methods to reduce the power of this inner negativity will allow us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom, and give us the skill to be the person we wish to be - positive, joyful, confident and loving.
